It makes a difficult job a lot less difficult
2 of 2 found this helpful Setup was a little awkward, the arm didn't fit under the wheel of my grinder. I had to fiddle about raising the machine before I could set the jig up, having said that, it works well on a 'standard' spindle gouge fingernail angle. With a little experimentation you can vary the angle to suit individual needs. BUT if you are after the 'longcut' swept back wings that a lot of wood turners use these days you will still be grinding freehand

So many uses
Easy to put together. Looks good. A lot better than having my wife's crafting clutter all over the table but I can see that it has so many other uses as well.

Sceptical
I was sceptical as to whether this would cut the fabric that my wife wanted to use it for but it worked and worked well. She was made-up with the results
