Looks lovely but doesn't hold up
I really like Knitpro wooden needles and have a set of Gingers which I have used happily for a couple of years, however on first use of the 4mm rosewood cubics as I was putting them away, a needle snapped where it fits into the metal housing. I had about 5 rows of rib on it which was the beginning of a cowl.
Maybe it's to do with the transition from square to round cross section which causes a weakness, but I would definitely not recommend these wooden cubics.
I think it would be a better design if the metal housing was also square to protect the join.
