proof that without a decent frontman......
....there is no Ultravox(!) Without Midge Ure or John Foxx, Ultravox is quite dull. Billy Currie is on form but generally this album lacks any real inspiration although well performed this is neither as emotional as Foxx's Ultravox nor as melodically interesting as Ure's. pretty dull.

desperately in need of a DVD reissue!!!!
The only thing stopping this getting excellent is the fact that it's video quality not HD or DVD! the peak of Adam and the Ants popularity is documented here in this high energy elaborate show like nothing seen before or since. part rock concert, part pantomime (and i don't mean that disrespectfully!) Adam pays homage to the art of panto' without over camping it! with elaborate costumes and sets and warship sailing into the stage, brilliant! the performances are fantastic, the songs are inspired! it's only poor quality recording techniques of the day that let it down a little. The sound is quite thin by todays standards but gives the concert a bootleg rawness that is very cool. so.... come on Adam, reissue this on DVD with a commentary option, bonus footage and some nice liner notes! oh, and a new album too please! Wonderful was fantastic (my personal favourite). G
