Jim Capaldi, my friend
5 of 5 found this helpful I bought this DVD because I wish I could have been there to see the great tribute to a man who was my friend. I first met Jim Capaldi in 1967 when I came to London, England, to live with my new step father record producer Jimmy Miller. We shared a floor on two adjoining flats near Earls Court Road. The elevator the size of a small closet popped open in the middle where both are doors were open to each other most of the time. Music and smoke filled the air. Jim and I spent a lot of time together along with Rocky Dijon the conga player and Dave Mason. But Jim was such a good friend to me and I will never forget how much that friendship meant to me. This DVD of the tribute concert shows how much he was a friend to so many people. Jim was a great person, a great musician, and a good friend, you can feel his presence by how he touched so many lives. Miss you man. steve miller

Extremely heavy and large but takes Great Pictures
1 of 1 found this helpful I once owned this lens. Extremely sharp and takes great pictures. But it is very difficult to handle making it only good for the very fit photographer. It is very heavy. The front element size makes it unbalanced. You should have an assistant to help set up on a tripod. The tripod must also be a large heavy duty unit to accommodate the beast or you may even need two tripods. One on the 6x7 camera and the other in the lens. So if you don’t mind the struggle to get it set up and have static subjects for the slow manual focus, then you will be rewarded with great pictures. I paid less then 2k for mine but current prices are now way beyond that.
