Maybe I didn't read fine print
When I got my dvr I didn't realize it wouldn't have the cords( the red, white, and yellow) that plug from the back of the DVR to the tv. Fortunately I had an extra laying around the house from a broken DVR, then it worked. So if you don't have those aux cords you will have to buy them. Maybe they mentioned that and I didn't see it .
