Motor was broke and app is no longer available

Got this for my grandson's birthday put it all together and the motor made a high pitch sound. The motor is broke. Good thing that my husband works on small engines because he fixed it and now it works great. but my grandson wants to connect it to the app but it is no longer available . So all and all not that happy with this .
