Not the quality I remember…
I’ve had Team HEKO wind deflectors for previous cars I’ve owned and never had an issue even with the retaining clips.
I ordered these for my current 2016 Fiesta and at first was impressed. They came well packaged and well protected. Upon opening the item I noticed the passenger side one scratched and the plastic felt a little flimsier than what I remembered.
Installation wasn’t much easier as the metal clips provided seemed to be wider and wouldn’t fit into the window channel. With a bit of force I managed to get them in and pulled back the tape and fitted them in place. I’d recommend using some 3M tape too just for peace of mind.
At first the windows wouldn’t go up but did eventually after giving them a bit of nudge with my hand.
I let them sit in place for a few hour and took the car out. Whilst impressed with the look and it actually does do it’s job as a wind deflector, I found the plastic quite flimsy and that it flaps about sometimes.
The windows don’t go up as easy fluently but it’s nothing the motor can’t handle. When the windows are up I found the deflectors to rattle until the window sits flush in the channel.
A bit annoying but liveable. They do the job, but the installation and quality aren’t there anymore.
