How to Pay by Bank
If Pay by Bank is available as a payment option, it will be shown at checkout:

- Choose your bank, or use your saved bank.
- On mobile, your app will open, or on desktop, simply scan the QR code.
- Review and approve the payment.
- Authenticate the transaction through your bank's app.
If you don’t have your banking app installed, you’ll be directed to your bank's web portal. Once approved, you’ll be returned to eBay for your order confirmation.

How refunds work
Returns and refunds for Pay by Bank work the same as with any other payment method, such as PayPal or a debit card. If you receive a refund for your eBay purchase (e.g. because you returned an item), the amount will be credited back to your bank account. This usually takes about 2 business days, depending on your bank's processing times.
For more information about refunds on eBay, please see our section on Returning an item for a refund.
