        Bundle discounts for buyers

        Sellers may offer you a discount when you buy two or more items in one purchase.

        Where bundle discounts are available, you’ll see details of what the seller is offering when browsing a listing or the seller’s shop or profile page. Sellers may offer discounts for buying multiples of the same item or for a mix and match of items.

        How bundle discounts work

        When you’re browsing a listing or a seller’s shop or profile, you’ll see prompts from the seller where bundle discounts are on offer. These will typically tell you the discounts that apply if you buy 2, 3 or more items together or the bundle discounts available if you buy different items together.

        In the details of each bundle discount, you’ll see the percentage off based on the number of items you buy, so you’ll know exactly the deal you’re getting before you go to checkout. You can either add extra items while browsing or at checkout. The savings are applied automatically and are clearly visible before you pay.

        Bundle discounts apply to item prices only. Postage and handling are calculated separately and are based on the seller's postage policy.

        How returns work with bundle discounts

        If you return part of an order purchased with a bundle discount, your refund is based on the number of items you keep after the return.

        A seller is offering bundle discounts as follows:

        • Buy 2 items, get 20% off
        • Buy 3 items, get 30% off

        Why isn't my refund £7?

        After you return 1 item, your order no longer qualifies for the 3-item bundle discount. Instead, the remaining items are priced using the bundle discount that applies to 2 items.

        Your refund is calculated automatically based on the number of items you keep. You don't need to do anything.

        Bundle discounts give you money off your purchase when you buy multiple eligible items from a participating seller in one order.

        Where will I see bundle discounts?

        Bundle discounts will be visible on a participating seller’s store or profile and their listing pages, as well as your cart at checkout. You’ll see the percentage discounts the seller is offering on the item listing, or their store or profile page. The total price for the items will also be clear at checkout before you pay.

        Discount tiers and percentages are set individually by each seller and may vary between sellers. Discounts apply when you confirm and pay. Before purchase, sellers may modify their discount tiers, percentages, or end bundle discounts at any time without notice.

        Can bundle discounts be combined with other promotions?

        Bundle discounts can be combined with any sitewide promotion eBay is offering. Bundle discounts cannot be combined with any other promotional codes a seller may be offering at the time of purchase. 

        If an item is eligible for multiple seller discounts (e.g. a bundle discount and a voucher) the discount that is the best deal for the buyer will be applied. Example: if a seller is offering a bundle discount of 15% for 2 items and a voucher for 20% off, the voucher discount will apply, not the bundle discount.

        How do mix and match bundle discounts work?

        You choose any combination of items in this seller's bundle inventory as shown in their promotion. You’ll automatically receive the highest discount available based on your total eligible items, whether different items or multiple quantities of the same item.

        What happens if I return part of a bundle order?

        If you return some items, your refund is based on the price of the kept items, which are re-priced for the bundle discount they now qualify for. If your purchase no longer qualifies for a bundle discount (for example, if you are keeping 1 item), it reverts to full price. Your refund is calculated accordingly.

        How long are bundle discounts available for?

        Bundle discounts are set individually by each seller and may vary between sellers. Sellers can change their bundle discounts at any time. Once a change is made, it will apply to new orders going forward.

        Will I get a discount on postage?

        Bundle discounts apply to item prices only. Postage and handling are calculated separately based on the seller's postage policy.
