Demon's Souls

Arguably one of the best games on the PS3 available, I heard though different channels about how difficult the game was and had to try it, nowadays games are far to easy and this game is beyond cruel.

The gameplay itself is not what makes it difficult, it's the game itself with it's merciless traps and the fact that other players can invade your game to steal your souls that you have accumulated by defeating enemies. If you are killed in human form you enter a phantom form where you are weakened but can still gather souls. This is where the game is very cruel, whilst in Phantom form you have a chance to regain those lost souls if you can reach where you were last killed, however die once more in phantom form and you lose them FOREVER. Trust me when you get 1000s of souls it's really annoying, however I knew this when I purchased the game and it's still a real challenge and great fun.

I recommend it for anyone who likes their rpg games, especially with added action and want a challenge.Read full review...

Great RPG, very good value!

As far as RPGs go on the PS3, this is definitely among the best! Got this game for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. Good game dynamics, but you do need to take a bit of time to understand the actual game play before you get the full benefit and start playing the game properly. Patience is a virtue and will be very much rewarded in the end. This is a massive game, rich in content and quite diverse, good luck!Read full review...

Hardcore RPG for true Gamers!

If your a serious gamer (I don't mean a Pro Evo player or a COD player, you must leave this place!) you will love this game. This game is hard, frustrating, challenging, unforgiving, relentless, satisfying, amazing.......I could go on. This is a brutal game of trial and error, an old skool game that mimics those games we played as kids where if you die you goto the beginning of the level (but a lot harder), no checkpoints or any of that normal modern game stuff. Demon Souls doesn't want you to play it. It wants you to suffer the pain of trying over and over again and you must show it you CAN complete it. Dark Souls is also a worthy and brilliant sequel so consider getting that too!Read full review...
