Works great after filing.
This is my first slide of this style. I use in on a electric lap steel guitar. The price is fair and works great as is. The underside that touches the strings is perfect. However... the top corners are pointy and not smooth like the $25 products. Some may like it that way. It was easy to round out the corners with a file. NOW I'm very happy. The picture is from AFTER I modified the slide.Read full review...

Lap Steel Tone Bar
This tone bar has a nice weight and is comfortable to hold. One end is slightly rounded and thus prevents the bar from hitting the strings if you slide it perpendicular to the strings. The concave groove along the top edge makes it easy to hold. It is a very good value. It has a nice weight (4 oz.) and length (3 inches).Read full review...

chrome slide bar
Good price, good weight, worth the money. I might file down the edge where it contacts the finger at the palm. It sort of digs into your finger, but that might just be my fat finger. It is probably personal preference, but I customize lots of my guitars anyway. It may take off some of the chrome finish, but I'll just clear coat it some rattle can clear gloss auto paint. Still a good deal.Read full review...

This is the best slide I have used. When comparing it to my old Stevens bar it is much easier to hold and control when playing my lap steel guitar.

Nice Tone Bar
I like the shape of this tone bar, especially the rounded nose. Its' total length is around .015" longer than a "Stevens" steel, but it weighs 1.3 oz less. Personally, I wish it was a little heavier, but I still rate it at 5 stars based on its' appearance, functionality, and how it feels in my hand.Read full review...

lap steel bar works great, solid, which is what i wanted. top edges are a little sharp, but that could be fixed with a little grinding, or some kind of adhesive padding like tape. great little bar for little cost.Read full review...
