Great product Ideal for the Purpose.
This Item is Ideal for fitting to Classical and Flamenco Guitars, It is small and unobrusivce with a secure adjustment, is quick and easy to fit well engineered and provides a a sold pressure to the strings keeping the tuning of the instrument. I understand the item also fits most 12 string guitars too. I highly recomend this product.Read full review

The ONLY capo you will ever need.
Very happy with item. However in the ratings there is one question "is it good value". That is a really key question, because £21 for a capo is a LOT to pay. However, I have had many different capo's including the also expensive Shubb ( which can damage the neck trying to get the right tightness if not careful ). So after wasting time and money with capo's, this one wins hands down. It is gentle on the guitar but with the easy screw adustment, you can make it fit your beloved axe without strangling it to dent level tightness with no buzzing on the dreaded D string, or pulling it out of tune. So "is it good value"? It is expensive, ( I wish I had two, with another for my other guitars, classical and steel stringed ( and different tunings ) so I could just leave them on. BUT it is the only capo you will ever need, you won't need to experiment if you get the D' Addario NS Classical PW-CP-04. It will tranform your guitar and playing as is unobtrusive as well. P.s. No I don't work for the company, but this is how capo's should ALL be.Read full review

Best capo around
I’ve used a few different capos for flamenco guitar ; Schub, Jim Dunlop , G7 th. This D’Addario capo is by far the best.: the pressure is applied and the capo held in place from the centre point behind the neck which is important in achieving even pressure from the bass strings to the treble strings and twisting such as happens with the Dunlop is avoided. Secondly you can apply just the right ammount of pressure or equivalent pressure to holding down a barre chord which assists in maintaining pitch better than any other capos I’ve used. Thirdly frs lightweight ( this one is the aircraft grade aluminium version) . Four : it’s the most unobtrusive capo I’ve used ; when the hand is working near the capo, it doesn’t get in the way. I don’t think there is a better classical capo out there. I have been using the same capo in the mandolin version for over a year now and would recommend it for the same reasons. I would imagine a radius steel string version would be similarly good. Only thing I would like to see insofar as improvement goes would be if D’Addario made it in a couple I’d easy find colours . This is a Ford model T . You can get it in any colour so long as it’s black which can be hard to find when you put it down but really this is a 5 star piece of kit Read full review

Screw capo - simple and effective
Researched first and chose this thumbscrew version rather than lever type. Nice balance, light weight and a perfect fit on my classical guitar. you can adjust how it sits on the strings and also you can easily 'park' it temporarily up on the head -- it doesn't fall off.Read full review
