Super kettle that feels like quality

We purchased this to replace a cheaper model. The LED in the cheaper oner lasted a month. The lid lasted two months. A week later, we binned it and replaced it with the Russell Hobbs., which feels like good quality. No problems so far, and we don’t expect any. My only criticism is the cheap-looking clear plastic switch. Maybe it once held an LED? Now it just looks redundant, but it is substantial and not likely to break soon.
