This camera works very well even though it is an older model of the Minolta range.

A brilliant Digital Camera

THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST DIGITAL CAMERAS GOING. Available for £50 to 60 on eBay, it is brilliant value for money.
Perhaps the best feature is that it uses four standard AA batteries, so there is no messing about with recharging, and you get 300 pictures per battery set! What economy!
The picture quality is brilliant, never mind the megapixels count, it's brilliant. Ten times optical zoom is more than you will ever need. Macro setting for moths and other small insects; colour balance better than using film; full control over the built in flash; uses standard SD cards; the special viewfinder for use in direct sun as well as the normal LCD panel, the list is endless.
The only snag is that you really need that special USB lead. Costs another £5 if you don't get the origianl one, but still available on eBay, so no problem there. Standard 52 mm UV filter can be fitted with a converter, £4 on eBay. If you see one of these, get it. You won't regret it.

Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10 Digital Camera

Massive optical zoom, shrouded optics (the lenses move inside the body - no movey inny and outy bits) and one of the best cameras I ever owned. And I've had a dozen or so. (It's an illness...)

Sold mine to upgrade to a z3 then a Z6 - and you know what ? Neither were as good.
So here we are again.

Minolta have stopped making cameras now - it's a shame as they are better than most, and this is the best of the lot.

Smaller screen is a bit of a pain for reviewing but with SD cards so cheap my advice is just keep shooting - and review on the pc like you are supposed to !

Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10

Having used basic digital cameras for years now i wanted a camera with more features and a digital zoom , as i missed the abilities of my old 35mil slr with zoom. This camera lets you be lazy and just select the zoom or flash , but if you want to play the select to alter shutter speed or exposure and with the 8* optical and the digital zoom and a macro seting for focus up to a 1cm you can hapily play. Start up time is instant and 250 pictures later batteries are stil fine. The pdf guide is good and alows those without prevous photography knowledge to try out a feature at a time. Very lightweight but works with a prescion feel.If you can`t guess i recomend this.Read full review...

Review of used Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10

I bought this camera because it has a power zoom lens, going from 'close-up' to 'telephoto zoom'. The low MP rating of 3.2mp is fine with me, because I take pics to exchange with friends and family. I also have a Canon Ixus 75 compact camera, with a mp rating of 7.1. To send pics taken on my Canon by email, involves very large file sizes. This Konica delivers in every aspect.
Highly recommended.

Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z10 Digital Camera

What a fantastic camera, I have a Z10 and find it very easy to use. Memory cards are easily obtained and very reasonably priced. The battery life is incredible. I am using 2700 M.A. rechargeable batteries and am very pleased with them, not needed to recharge them yet. Pity that these great cammeras are no longer produced.

Works well and at a bargain price.

This is a brilliant camera! Does the job perfectly, and for the price of a bargain basement supermarket camera.

An excellent choice for a budget-conscious enthusiast.

I'm delighted with mine, but unfortunately now my dad's seen it I have to buy one for him too.Read full review...
