Some tools feel like they won't last the weekend.......

I do a fair bit of gardening. I get a feel for tools that are well designed and feel naturally well constructed.

The feel: the handle and casing feels cheap and plasticky. The blades feel inadequate.

The function: the action of pulling the lower handle up feels a bit stiff. It doesn't feel ergonomic. It will only cut the lightest and thinnest of grass, anything a bit thicker and the blades ride over the stalk and just bends it. It isn't robust enough to deal with cutting awkward clumps. Because the action is not smooth and feels stiff, the wrist gets tired quickly. I have very quickly found myself putting them down and resorting to using shears instead.
Conclusion: Cheaply made, not up to a steady work flow. I'm already looking for a better quality replacement.Read full review
