These Gardner scissors have always been my favourite. Having tried a few others over the last cpl of decades. This is my second pair, and I only purchased because I have had to occasionally use the old pair opening tin cans. Decent enough for the price. Braid needs some tension to cut and not perfectly clean cut, but does the job well enough. However, I'm comparing these to Owner braid scissors, which are the best on the market in my opinion, but three times the price. I've tried cheaper scissors and wasted my money. Best to pay that bit extra and get a pair that actually do the job! Excellent so far, and hopefully they'll stay sharp for some considerable time.

Not as good as they say!!
The description says these ultra blade rig scissors are very sharp. The only way they cut braid (Berkeley Whiplash 50lb) is if they braid is under tension, otherwise they won’t cut it. Would I buy again? No. Would I recommend them? No
