Very good value wi-fi access point.

I use a Netgear DGN1000 wi-fi router in the hall of a relatively modern 3 bed house. The wi-fi coverage is limited and unavailable in the kitchen (about 5 yards directly from the router, and through two walls). The TP-Link range extender is positioned in the lounge as a wi-fi access point, with an Ethernet cable connecting to the router, and the wireless side of the Netgear router turned off. Wireless access is now much better throughout the house. The TP-Link unit looks neat, with its curved shape and random ventilation holes and is more attractive than a standard rectangular box. Set-up was straightforward via the in-built web page accessed through a web browser. It is excellent value, and more cost effective than replacing the Netgear router with one that has a more powerful wi-fi signal. The TP-Link unit has three modes of operation: access point (AP) mode, repeater (range extender) mode and bridge AP mode, each selectable through its set-up page. I have only used it in AP mode. The plug supplied is a standard UK 3-pin unit.Read full review...

Great router at a ridiculous price

Can do anything. Access point, repeater, client to connect via wifi devices without wifi. Intuitive interface, helping wizard for first config. Strong signal.

Useful info I didn't find anywhere on the specs. before buying: the removable antennas are 22cm long (from base to top) and can be moved in any direction.Read full review...

Easy to set up. Great value.

A very versatile piece of kit for a remarkably low price. It takes seconds to connect and configure. I needed it as a signal booster initially, to make sure the church had good WiFi coverage. This it did very well. However, I can easily convert it to part of a bridge if we subsequently need to expand coverage in a neighbouring building or the garden. I didn't need the power over ethernet facility this time, but might subsequently, and the injector is provided as part of the kit. Great value.Read full review...

Wifi Booster

Good product. I can get signal in garage now. More than one unit can be used to extend range even further.

Good product

Works really well as an access point. Just plugged it in to our wired network and turned it on. Use the new wireless name and pass code on the bottom of the unit and your away. Simples.
