Sturdy metal Tawa Pan
Arrived a few days after ordering with Myhermes courier. it arrived bubble wrapped but it is a heavy metal construction that it wouldn't come to any harm. Looking at it i thought they had sent a non stick version but looking closely there was a coating on the base but that soon disappeared when I followed the instructions to wash and oil the surface. The only problem was the strong glue on the advertising sticker on the base was difficult to remove took awhile to remove but I persevered.
The pan base is slightly concaved curve and not completely flat. It is really heavy metal which is ideal to get the naan breads cooking I managed to flip the pan so that the top got cooked on the gas ring. The handle is made of wood and is comfortable to use with no heat transferred from the base.
