Always read the manual and get the correct part number.

My Rayburn MF had spent most of its life converted to oil burning. The supplied ashpan after we acquired our revered cooker, water heater and central heating system was half the depth needed, and someone had concreted up the remaining depth.

It never worked properly and was hard to clean out.

Recently I found a manual for the MF on eBay. I got the part number for the new ashpan and found one.
