Still a great little phone

I still think it is a great design and this example works as well in all respects as my 2002 6310i model did when new and would still normally have a week or more standby time but it is a shame about this particular battery. It is not the first time of disappointment with the generic BPS-2N battery and this one is for the bin as it does not accept charge. Read full review...

Ok handset, but.......

Maybe was expecting too much. The handset was delivered pronto and on first inspection was delighted....but looking closer you can pretty much tell it is refurbished- The cover screen is not the same width or shape of the original 6310i and so you have to tilt it sideways to see the time in the top right hand corner. The colour is not the same either, as the original was sort of brushed metal colour where as this is silver and looks like it has been spray-painted....lastly battery life is poor, without much use the battery needs charging in 3 days, which for a new battery is poor.
I guess that`s what you get with refurbished, it`s not new or as new, but I suppose if it was it would have been 8 times the price if new. On the plus side it works perfectly.

Perfect mobile phone, but not enough for business life in 2012

+ This is certainly was a masterpiece from NOKIA. No doubts that this was the best model NOKIA has ever manufactured.
A lot of features, battery life, modern body.

- I bought it recently and I can say only positive about it except some items which are really vital in real life
Numbers capacity, Easy adjusting of emails, surfing internet

I've placed it now as an emergency phone just in case and I'll continue using my e71. Unfortunately if you are a business person and actively using a phone for business purposes the 6310i won't be enough as it is morally old. Reliable phone you do't need a degree in electronics to use!

Prior to a night out on a works evening pre xmas, I had this exact phone - after the night out & lets just say 'some' drinks (beer, wine & port) - I now didn't have this phone!
Now needed to replace it - Doh!
Simply bought another one, exactly the same as the lost phone. I like these phones, as they are simple to use, very little to go wrong, you don't need a degree in electronics to use it & they are very robust - i.e you can drop it & it still works, my kids tell me it should be classed as a weapon, as that's all its good for in there eyes!
It doesn't have a camera built in, but has blue tooth which is a handy feature. The buttons are of good size as is the actual phone itself, it does text & makes calls - what more do you need....
I suppose I will have to move with the times some day, but for now I'll stick with this reliable brick!!Read full review...

Does what I wanted - fills a space in car intended for this type of phone.

A rugged phone without a camera, which I did not want (a phone is for phone calls!) I bought it to fit a holder already fitted to my car and it has the advantage of always being available and charged. The only downside is that it suffers a bit of wear and tear if kept in a pocket; at the very least it needs a screen protector.

I have scored 4 for features although I make phone calls, as I have said, so don't use anything else.I suspect it is quite well specified for its era.Read full review...

Good old nokia

Slightly more worn than I expected and doesn't show my sim card numbers besides the old owner's own ones so relatively expensive, however, does the job and battery lasts long. Good back up phone

Poorly refurbished phone

I purchase this phone because back in the day it was super reliable.
This phone is not reliable. It doesn't hold its charge, it turns itself of all of the time.

Easy to use and easy to understand, fairly basic with no fancy extras.....

I purchased this mobile telephone for my husband for a Christmas gift...... he has had a total of 6 of this style and model of phone since 1997.... the recent purchase is his 7th!! He has kept the other 6 phones for use for spares etc although 3 of them are still working perfectly well!! My husband isn't very 'technical minded' and shuns anything to do with computers and the like.... he likes the Nokia 6310i because he says it is very easy to use and understand..... it has no fancy extras such as 'camera', 'video' etc, etc, etc... he would be completely lost if he had the extra facilities.... he is not stupid but he hasn't even got around to sending a text message yet - I suppose that he doesn't need to do so..... all-in-all - he was extremely pleased when he opened the gift on Christmas Day.... another one for his collection!!!Read full review...

REALLY GOOD IF YOU NEED JUST TO MAKE CALLS

if you a need a phone just for calls with bluetooth as me, this is your phone!
Sometimes the bluetooth does not work perfectly but I'm not sure if it is just my phone. Sometimes the bluetooth freezes the screen.
A part from that is really good phone, easy to use, and battery last more than one week! :)
Contacts and information can be transferred over the computer with Nokia programs.
It also have a opportunity to install some programs.Read full review...
