Pelican 1400 Hard Protector Case - Black - No Foam

Excellent to turn into small drone hard case.

Shipping was very fast. Case itself was as described, actually the one I received looked better than the product photo. It didn't have any labels on it at all. I'll run it over once more with some comet, but it's pretty good anyway.

As others have stated, had one middle square of foam missing but chances are good you would need to remove foam for your purpose. Everything else seemed fine.

I'll be modifying it to contain a Bebop Drone with the props removed plus some accessories.
This case is around the same size as the LowePro CS200 Drone case, and like it, you must remove the props. The Bebop drone is just going to fit taking around 3/4 of the case dimensions without props.

Decided to buy one of these instead because unlike the semi-rigid Lowepro, these Pelican cases are drop on the highway rock solid (I already have a 1500). Plus as an added bonus, unlike the lowepro, the Pelican could always be repurposed with new foam.

recommended for small drone, different yellow color makes the case interesting and easy to pick out.

Great Case ...It is the Second Pelican case that I have bought

These are great cases ...The quality of this case is so good that i doubt that the case will ever break or wear out. In the past year I did watch a video online that a guy drove a full size pickup truck up on top of a Pelican case and he stopped the truck while the truck tire was still parked on top of the case he got out of the truck to show that the case never cracked or broke. I don't think anyone including myself would ever have need to drive a vehicle on top of one of these cases but.... it does shows how well these cases are really made. After purchasing a Pelican case myself I believe the video. This is the second Pelican case that I have purchased in the last 6 months....Theses cases are so good and they can be used for so many different uses to hold and protect so many things. I plan to buy a third case within the month....Great case that you will never regret buying it is virtually indestructible. Excellent used pelican case

- Still maintains 100% functionality. No cracks or chips in the plastic. Some marker writing, but it can be sanded or stained off.

- Foam was also in very good condition. Only a small center piece was missing. There was enough remaining foam to cannabalize and re-purpose for what I needed.Read full review

Kept camera safe on a Kayaking trip

I trust this box to hold my camera equipment on a kayaking trip. I wouldn't trust a dry bag with that much safety. It is a good size to fit a camera and 2 moderate sized lenses.
