Freezer temperature

Recently bought a chest freezer which instructs you to set at mid on the dial but I wanted to be more accurate than that so I adjusted to -18 which was quite a bit away from the mid marker hence getting correct temperature and saving on energy as before was needlessly running at a colder temp so over time this thermometer will pay for itself.Good build quality and simple to use 👍Read full review...

Salter fridge thermometer leaves bad taste in the mouth.

Unit is large and easy to read. However it was very slow to change when the temperature varied. Also it would read about 5 degrees high, meaning if you adjusted the fridge thermostat to get the thermometer needle in the sweet spot, you food would start to freeze. The dial also acts like a magnet for condensation. Unless there is a sale on the price is exorbitant. I recommend that you buy a Brannan unit instead. Read full review...
