old but very good
my used naim pre amp had a faulty volume motorised pot I think its a common problem with old units , I cleaned it out and re-lube d it its better but not perfect , it is very very good ,I had no idea I was missing so much information and quality , brilliant upgrade fro the rotel pre I was using .Read full review...

Entry level pre-amp, but for the money, there is little out-there that can match its sonic performance.
Niam's entry level pre-amp has an open sound-stage and immerses the listener into the music. It has the classic Naim timing and rhythm, but still with a relaxed warm sound. Truly, one, will be eager to rediscover their music collection.

My pre amp had exactly the same fault with the source select switch cutting out either the left or right channel, returned to Naim service department who repaired the unit, on reconnecting to my system it sounded like new!
