Amazing bargain oacked with value
Lovely camera, feels good in the hand, and the results are stunning. Easy to fit lenses, and with storage for hundreds of shots.
Sice the D50 is an older camera with many models after it, the price is affordable for the smallest pocket and brings professional standards to all.

New in DSLR Cameras, this was best entry into it. Absolutely blown away by how easy this camera is making pictures and by the quality.Still have to learn a lot, but camera is absolutely superb and Im very happy with it. Still stands up as a good buy for an SLR camera
Although pushing on in years this camera is still an excellent buy. The 6.1MP sensor is perfectly large enough for poster size pictures and the quality is excellent as would be expected for a Nikon SLR camera. The camera has the standard SLR manual settings but also an auto mode which works well for those with no experience. In my experience, the rechargeable battery lasts a long time. I originally intended in upgrading to a more modern camera but will likely stick with this until it stops working.
Minor issues-
No video mode, although I would rather buy a dedicated video camera.
