Although handy if installed where it's needed, once the adhesive is pressed in place, the holder is next to impossible to remove.

If installed on a soft covering such as a dashboard or windshield pillar, getting it off will almost surely result in damage to the soft surface. It's therefore imperative that the area selected for installation will not interfere with other objects.

Having said that, the unit is well designed and can be adjusted to a variety of handy positions thus placing it near the top of affordable hands-off cell phone holders. It may seem a bit clunky in size, but it has to be well made to absorb vibrations. Overall, a good item at an affordable price.

iOttie Phone holder

This phone holder was very well designed and easy to use. I had no problem getting acquainted with it and it functions terrifically. The only suggestion I would make is to add a stick on mounting plate for rough surfaces, how ever I was able to get past that and am enjoying the ease and safety of using it.
