If you played the first you know what to expect, more of the same but less linear

Not much different to the first mirrors edge. There's a large "open" world, you can only take certain routes between parts of the city though.

It's adopted what seems to be everyone's new favourite map style, the Assassins Creed, LOTR Shadow of mordor, most other games map style. Where you visit viewpoints and mini objectives or can go to the main quests.

Movement feels nice, combat is good and there hasn't been any shooting so far and I think I'm about half way through. Upgrade system is fun, decent game. If you loved mirrors edge it's well worth getting.
