Thin and poor coverage
I am reviewing the silver paint, not the coloured. I have previously used the white and black and cover and consistency was excellent. The silver does not cover as well as other hammerite products I have used. Rather thin so you can lose a lot when covering chairs or things that are intricate. Would not use it again, I will use the coloured paints in future.Read full review...

A real time saver
Saves loads of time if you have rusty iron metal work. Tried sand paper and wire brush but emery cloth would be my prefered solution to remove flaking old paint and heavy rust.
I used cheap paint brushes-use once-throw away. As it says on the tin, dries quickly, finnish is very good and smooth.

Got it to paint over a chip in the enamel of my bath in order to prevent it from rusting. It has worked perfectly (up to now).
