We use this kettle for hot water bottles . .. ...
For me this product is, mostly, good!
However it does have issues, we use this kettle for hot water bottles!
I had wanted a temperature controlled kettle BUT they cost far to much at present!
So this was a good choice instead. .....
The volume window is VERY difficult to read as it in the handle and is too dark to read, this is not a big issue as I always measure the water to be used from a jug, this has this problem the hinged lid gets in the way when using a jug, if you're using your right hand!
No problem, JUST rotate the kettle on the base clockwise AND this leads to the big issue(s) THE BASE is too light and does not grip the worktop it slides about.
IF the kettle still has water in it when you go to put the kettle back, it's difficult to do as if the two don't mesh on the first try as the added weight forces the base 'around' when you move it to find matching point. .. ...
Additionally the slower boiling times means you don't spike the power demand from the solar panels, also when you switch the kettle off; the temperature does not continue to rise, well for one litre anyway!! Read full review

Ok but wouldn’t buy again.
Nice looking kettle, style is different.
Feels a bit flimsy, but at least it’s not heavy to lift, and the base it sits on is very light. I have said that the grip isn’t comfortable because the plastic handle does get hot when the water boils.Read full review

Stainless steel - easy to clean.
The kettle swivels on it's base.
The temperature gauge tells me that the kettle is hot enough for drinks should I switch it on and leave the room.
