Well made but:-

Looks to be a well made sturdy compact unit that works ok but could be improved.
What is a bit odd is the design/placement of the water container. When facing the controls and the display the water container is around the back so you can’t easily see the water level while looking at the front. Container is also a bit fiddly to remove and refit.
Don’t get the 12lire a day capacity as it struggles to remove 2 litres in 8 hours.
Fan noise on the high setting is too noisy.

A good attempt at making an effective dehumidifier

Whilst not particularly diminutive, this dehumidifier makes quite a lot of fan noise, even when running at its slowest speed.
I found the controls to be rather restrictive in what they allow: I have this running in a cellar which as is the case with most cellars, is below ground: and since this is a stone-built Victorian property there's only stone between the outside sub-soil and the inside! Keeping it going 24hrs-a-day does remove a fair amount of water from the air (but not as much as our elderly Toshiba!!) which leads me to the three complaints that I have with this device.
1) Given the most important thing is 'access' to the water collector for emptying, this is proving to be a right pain! The collector seems reluctant to push straight back in once it has been emptied, and there's always some water dribbling out of the machine when the collector is pulled out!
2) This device - whether by accident or design - is pushing out cold air, making the whole room cold, and therefore the air is not able to dry out the floor and walls as effectively as if the air was being warmed. Again this is in comparison the our elderly Toshiba unit. Our solution (ait's definitely NOT eco-friendly!) is to run an electric fan-heater alongside the dehumidifier. This allows the warm air to take more moisture out of the walls and floor, after which the dehumidifier can condense the water out of the air.
3) The multi-coloured LED ring is on the front of the device, whereas the collector is removed from the back! Since draining the condensate from the collector is the more common function - the level indicator is therefore at the back too! - having the ring indicator which is supposed to indicate the stae of the humidity on the front is completely pointless as it's now pointing towards a wall!
I will say the little castors are very good, and the unit can bemoved around easily. There are two indent handles (one on each side) so that the unit can be picked up quite easily..
How long it'll last is not something I can vouch for - I've only had it for a week so far!
Would I buy this again? Probably not.
Was it worth the money? 50:50
Hope this helps you make the decision a bit easier.

Only 12L under extreme conditions

The 12L claim in the spec is for 30C and 80% humidity. In practice ours is taking 2L every 10 hours and has made a huge difference t the comfort of our home. Our windows are now dry on a morning and the unit only uses 185 watts and is fairly quiet on full speed. Very pleased with it.Read full review...

My favourite household appliance

Delighted with this dehumidifier. Bought it to get rid of condensation on windows and to help dry washing indoors over winter. Easy to ease and it’s unbelievable how much water it collects in a few hours. As a light sleeper I can’t run it overnight as I can still hear the hum even though it’s a different room. Very happy that I could buy British!Read full review...

Quietly efficient

Had it for a week now and it has been a good purchase. All machines are noisy but this one is quieter than most. It doesn't warm the room but acts as a fan taking away much water. Efficient and economical in energy consumption. Read full review...

Amazing

I was recommended this dehumidifier by some friends who have bought a similar model. They recommended it because it was quiet, effective and efficient. Until I bought this machine, I didn't realise how much humidity there was in my house.Read full review...
