Great for nails, not so great for cuticles

Arrived well on time, nicely packaged.
My toenails are thick and they work great. Tried to do my cuticle on hands and feet but hard to get a feel of the tool on these delicate parts of skin. I couldn't see what I was doing clearly and it did not cut close.
My after thought is that the tool blade is too long for cuticles; need a cutting shorter blade for precision.
I would still buy again but just for nail cutting.Read full review...

Professional nail clippers

Though I have not recommended this product, the steel & construction quality were superb and for certain uses, good value.

The item I received was of a different design to the one illustrated and expected. The blades were straight instead of curved and the points were incredibly sharp leading to a tendency to dig painfully into the cuticles, rather than lay into them. To use them comfortably for cuticle trimming, I need to use a spotlight and magnifying work glasses.

The cutting edges were & remain very sharp and effective for shortening nails, but not easy to shape nails or trim cuticles, for the reasons cited above.Read full review...

I know it is cheap, so cannot expect a miracle But it is still not easy to cut hard toe nails....and it is not easy to get the Clippers to get to the corners of the toe.... I suppose it is ok if you are doing it to some other person, not easy to do it to yourself.Read full review...

Beautifully made but ineffective for me

This pair of scissors is beautifully made and a real pleasure to hold and handle. They are fine for fingernails but in my experience ineffective for fungus damaged toenails (even after a bath). Moreover I even tough I have large and strong hands these scissors are so small I was unable to exert sufficient leverage. these are far to small and weak with short handles ,which means very little preasure is applied to the cutting or should I say crushing blades, all of which means It is impossible to cut my toenails exept for a couple of the nails on the little toe. these tools are to (Micky Mouse) small and want much longer handles for more leverage !Read full review...

Cheap price but quality instrument

Ordered these heavy duty toe nail cutters to deal with my thick talons and my in growing toe nail, which ordinary nail scissor or clippers just can cope with. In fact I've broken 3 sets of clippers try to sort my nails out.

These professional clippers came within a week and are the business, they made short work of my nails even the in growing one.

I am so impressed and my feet are much happier now.
