Such an Underrated Gem on Both PS3 and PSvita

Just because this game is similar to Smash Bros., doesn't mean that it's the exact same or should be treated as such because while this game may have some issues (decent, but limited character roster, not that many modes to play, etc.), the core gameplay is actually pretty solid and there really was some heart put into this game with what SuperBot Entertainment, the developers behind this title, were able to do with a limited budget.

Coming from a Smash fan, this game definitely doesn't deserve to be forgotten and I, as well as many others, out there would love to see this series come back, someday on console if Sony isn't stupid and legit gave this concept another go. Whether it'd be another brawler game or maybe a simple 1-on-1 or 2-on-2 style fighting game, I'd be okay just seeing this series in general come back on console in a good, big way.

I would definitely implore you to look up the development of this game on YouTube from YouTubers like The Golden Bolt and Matt McMuscles to hopefully, have a bit of respect for what SuperBot did and wanted to do for this title, before Sony shut them down.Read full review...

Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale (An awesome "Smash-Bros"esque PS3 game)

Do you like the smash-up battle style gameplay found in Nintendo's Super Smash Brothers series? If so, then this is a great game for you. While Nintendo uses mainly Nintendo only characters in ther brawler, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale showcases a nice cast of mainly PS3 only characters, from Nathan Drake (Uncharted series) to Sly Cooper (Sly Cooper series) and many more inbetween, about 20 characters in total so far (more to come via DLC content). Characters also have alternate costumes to unlock for added variety. There are several levels to choose from, all based on one or more of the characters in the game. The levels also "shift" while playing on them, meaning some of them actaully change into other levels while playing. As far as gameplay content, there are single player story modes for all characters, and then you have both online and offline multiplayer to smash it up with friends both near and far. All in all, dynamic level design, lots of Playstation characters, and both single player story and multiplayer modes, this brawler game is definitely worth the buy!Read full review...

It is a good game. It has quite a few PlayStation icons, but missing some greats like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro. The soundtrack is nice since it features a lot of PlayStation’s hit songs. Very Good Game For the Price

Ok so it’s obviously not as good as smash but as long as you know 2-3 characters in the roster then you’ll have a fun time. Especially get it if u have multiple controllers and can play it locally with ur family or friends.
