Overall the game is lacking in many respects but we still enjoyed playing!

The games takes you inside the family guy universe with a return to the multiverse, you have to fight all sorts of characters from the TV show in a massive cartoon brawl.

To start with the game seems well built and uses scenes from family guys news shows to animate the game menu. We started on the main campaign and instantly noticed the first problem with game, the cut scenes are badly animated and they try to make jokes that just don't work. The actual campaign is quite fun, running around shooting the Amish in the face or stopping mayor wests cat nukes, however all the levels are rather repetitive and it took us a lot of joints to get through the entire thing. The game tried to base its levels on running themes are certain episodes from the TV show, the chicken fight was certainly one of our favourites. The secondary objectives in the game aren't particularly challenging but they are effectively the same objective on every level, collect so many of a certain item, it can get rather boring to get all these objectives.

Challenge mode came to us next, each level was well built and contained an interesting challenge, such as wave defence or take so many pictures of the sorority girls before the time runs out. Some of the challenges are easy and some are just way too hard. Annoyingly the last level on challenge mode is a CO-OP mission, but since the game has no xbox live challenge capability its a bit awkward to finish these levels if your on your own.

Multiplayer mode is severely lacking in this game, there is 4 modes and each level is a play on a classic multiplayer game type. The problem we had with multiplayer is the fact that's its single console play only, no xbox live multiplayer exists which is what made this a bad game. The levels aren't particularly big for multiplayer and has a maximum of 4 players per match.

Achievement wise the game is very easy, we managed to get the whole 1000 Gamerscore within 10 hours, probably the fastest we have ever finished a game. Some of the achievements really made us laugh, such as teabaggin' for taunting 25 times or teabag a D-bag for taunting a dead opponent with quagmire.

If you want a game to casually play without having much of a challenge we really recommend this one. Its generally fun to play when you haven't got much to do and want something to pass the time.
