Good backplate as a starting point

I got this to modify for use on an XPS8100 board, since no backplates seem to be available for that one and this had the closest to the required hole pattern. A bit of work with the Sherline mill, a bit of sheet metal fabrication to cover unused holes, and some judicious bending of grounding tabs, and it works great.Read full review
