A plug for a plug...........
Although i've not fitted it yet, i can tell it's good quality and gives me the option to splice into it to fit an amplifier without cutting the original loom in the car. This is what i actually bought it for, i'm not going silly with the amplifiers, just enough to boost the OE head units output to a more contemporary level so i don't have to turn it up to distorting levels to get a louder volume.
A nice little touch on this particular harness is that it's possible to switch the permanent and switched feeds over to accomodate fitting a standard unit into something like a VAG or similar sort of car where the OE wiring is "the wrong way round" for aftermarket stereos.
This feature can also be used to easily tap into the switched feed for the remote input on the amps.
