Great for the MOT Emissions Test for Diesel Vehicles
My 13 year old Focus diesel has done more miles than the Starship Enterprise. I poured a bottle of Wynns Diesel Emission Reducer in the fuel tank on the morning of its MOT last week, took it for a thrash up the dual carriageway making sure the engine got nice and hot then took it for the MOT test. It flew through the emissions test (it passed its MOT with an advisory on a tyre.....the old bus rides again!).
This is a very good product that I have been using for several years. On one of my previous diesel cars years ago (a Peugeot 309 1.9 diesel) it failed its MOT on the emissions. I put a bottle of this stuff in the fuel, took it for a good run then went back for a re-test. Perfect emissions test results second time round. The MOT guy asked me what I'd done to it.
Definitely worth putting a bottle in the tank before the MOT as a 'just in case' re: the emissions, particularly in older and higher mileage diesels. Read full review...

Nissan Pixo failed on emissions - Passed after using this + good run out
My car failed on emissions (Lambda readings). Nissan Pixo with 30,000 but hadn't been used much over last year or so for various reasons. Went through MOT every time with no advisories prior to this.<br>
2 days before retest added this product to half tank of fuel. Got the engine up to temperature day 1 and then proceeded to give it a lot of revs. Couldn't drive car on road at this point as MOT expired.
Day of MOT started car and let it come to temperature. Then went to MOT test station the long way round. Gave the car a good thrashing, never going above 3rd gear. Went for approx 30 mins drive / 12 miles.
Car flew through MOT. Considering the dealer was advising buying new sensors at £300 a pop (there's two and they weren't even sure if that was it) I'd say that was a result.Read full review...
