Does what a magnatron does, and does it well!

My expensive microwave combination oven stopped working after 12 years. Fortunately I am a retired electronic engineer with experience in microwave technology. I tried to get a replacement magnetron from the oven manufacturers but was told it was obsolete. I saw this Toshiba magnetron on Ebay and the dimensions and mounting centre's were an exact match for the faulty one, so I took a chance and ordered. Bingo! everything went smoothly I replaced the magnetron and the faulty diodes and now have a working oven again. All the tests were carried out and the oven is working to specification.
