Mail has arrived
It works as advertised, easy to install. The tip that fits under the mailbox lid needs to be made from stronger metal it bends easy and I'm afraid sometime in the future it will break off but over all it saves a lot of trips to the mailbox (my mail will run anywhere from 9am to 6pm) I would buy again.Read full review...

Mail Box Alert
This is just what I needed. Fairly easy to install. I drilled 2 holes and put in nuts & bolts. The alert saves many unnecessary stops at the rural mailbox and lets me know when I need to check it. It's easy to reset with one hand out the car window. Sturdy metal construction beats the plastic jobs for my purposes.Read full review...

Easy to assemble and easy to see from a distance
This alert flag is easy to assemble on mailbox. For my mothers, without a top hinge, it was just a matter of putting in place and inserting sheet metal screw. The yellow flag will be highly visible from a distance. I would recommend others give this product a try, for it would save you many trips to your mailbox.Read full review...

More reliable than your mail carrier
I've used this item for 20 years & while there are variations on the design, this one is by far the best. Yes; after prolonged use the metal tab will break off due to exposure to the outdoor elements, but my experience has been that the life span of the item offsets the nominal replacement cost. Has save me a LOT of unnecessary steps over the years!Read full review...

Great product, easy installation, plus a suggestion
This product works great and is easy to install. I had to install using screws, but that was no issue at all; actually it made it more secure. I would offer one suggestion about installing this handy little flag: drill 2 holes in the bracket and into the mailbox and use 2 screws. This will keep it tight and it won't move around. Also, be sure to place the screws with the head inside of the mailbox and the nut on top of the bracket (making sure the screw isn't too long and interfere with the flag in the down position}. This will keep the screws from tearing any packages or scratching anyone's hand. Note to the manufacturers/sellers: You can increase your sales by drilling a small hole in the top edge of the flag and adding a strong, yet thin, piece of string to be trapped by the closed mailbox door. This would allow use in mailboxes that have the door that goes inside of the mailbox.Read full review...

Very good. I have had one for 15 years or so, then moved bought another & 1 for my sister. Would buy another one if I move again. No guess work if the mail is there. Very easy to install. A+A+A+

Works great!
My mailbox does not have the tab to slip the unit under for attachment.
But it was very easy to drill a small hole and attach with a pop rivet.
(The small bolt provided would work as well.)

Very helpful for us elderly retired people
Saves the long walk down our driveway to check on the mail that is not consistent with the time of day for delivery.
The first one lasted just 2 1/2 years. I had to add a screw in my plastic mailbox and then eventually added duct tape to hold it in place the lip finally broke off otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Mailbox Flag
All metal (except the spring) in the unit is aluminum, for long, outdoor weather durability. The down side is that the "flag" pops-up with such force that it bends slightly with each engagement requiring that you realign or straighten it occasionally. Likely, the aluminum flap will eventually fracture along the crease line, meaning that it will have to be replaced at some future time.
As far as the FUNCTION of the mailbox flag, it is "spot on" as it is easily seen from a distance when it is activated by the opening of the mailbox lid.Read full review...
