Good upgrade

I upgraded my wife's Toshiba laptop from an i3 to an i7 with this CPU. I also upgraded the ram from 4 to 8 GB of DDR2 and put in a SSD drive. The upgrade took about 45 minutes and it is running reliable and faster. I was hoping to see a greater performance boost in the upgrade, but I am dealing with an older chipset and ram. The SSD was done a few weeks prior to the ram and CPU upgrade. This was probably a bigger speed increase than I got from the CPU and ram upgrade. Great upgrade from a i3 370m to a i7 620m.

Laptop computer is faster and if you want even more performance out of it put a SSD Hard drive makes a huge difference as well. It's cheaper to upgrade than to buy a new laptop.
