Best low-power 802.11n (lite) SISO WiFi Router
Item works as described.
Positive:
PoE (Power over Ethernet)
High speed for a Single Input Single Output antenna architecture
Very flexible: Works as an Access Point, Client, Router or Range Extender (WRT and Hybrid)
Negative:
Relatively low RF output power ( 100 mW)
Comes configured as an Access Point, requiring that you set your ethernet port to a fixed IP address to talk to it (Possibly the installation CD would have noted that, but I rarely use them on routers/access points).Read full review

Flexible Access Point
Positives:
Very flexible: it can act as an access point, a client client, two different modes of repeater or a router.
It supports Power Over Ethernet (PoE), which is somewhat unusual in a residential WAP
Performs as expected.
Negatives:
Setup can be difficult, as it comes configured as an access point only. As such, DHCP is disabled, which requires your client to have its Ethernet port set to the 192.168.1.x subnet. Once you have done that, you can change the mode to a router and switch your client back to DHCP (automatic) IP address generation.
Output power is limited to less than 100 mW (20 dBm).
In summary, it does what it says it does.Read full review

TP-Link Access Point (AP)
The AP is working well and provides a range of at least 100 feet. The installation went smoothly. In their booklet they should be specific that the ethernet cable can be removed as soon as the installation is complete. Also they should warn you to Enable DCHP not Disable it if there is no other source for the DCHP function, typically an internet connection.Read full review

TP-Link
Very great product and works so much better than my old one. May purchase a couple more in the future if I need them.

using it as an AP and a Client
I wanted something I could use it as a Client or an AP off another router and it seems to work good for those functions. Instructions are not very good as far as getting it to work in Client mode but got it to work and seems to be working ok as a client. I've had good luck with TP-link units.Read full review
