Gives a perfect finish
I make violins and don't like a glassy smooth finish to the varnish. Using this product in a paste with linseed oil (boiled) reduces the glassy finish to a satin sheen with remarkably little effort. I just rub it on with a toothbrush and work it in gently then polish off with a linseed oil soaked rag before polishing with violin cleaner. The end result is a soft satin sheen which transforms the appearance and makes the instrument fit in aesthetically with other strings in an orchestra. As you really don't need much, 250 g would keep me going for years.Read full review...
