Very Capable PCM Sound Module

The Roland U-110 is an excellent multi-timbral PCM sound module. It has the simplicity of parameters such as amplifier attack/release, and pitch LFO with polyphonic aftertouch reception. The U-110 had a logical logical architecture with tones, parts, and patches that are easy to understand and manage. The module is capable of very rich sounds if you combine several parts and trigger them on the same MIDI channel. There are many PCM cards that are compatible with this unit, including the SN-U110 series cards, as well as the SN-SPLA series cards for Roland D-70. For instance the SN-SPLA-03 PCM card with select JD-800 waveforms can be read by the U-110 module. It comes up as Card No. 3 in place of the SN-U110-03 (Ethnic) card.

I am very happy with this module, and I am planning to get another one, for extra polyphony. I have the full set of PCM cards for the U-110 (15 original cards + 2 SN-SPLA cards) which gives me immense variety of sounds.
