Amongst the best strings available
I have used Martin. M600 strings on my Soprano and Concert Ukuleles for about three years. They have always increased the volume and improved the sound of my Uke’s and I very much prefer them to Nygluts.
The negatives for these strings are minor. The clearness of them is occasionally an irritation and they are very slightly brighter sounding than my preference - for your taste they might be perfect.
On the plus side they are widely available, wear well, settle to pitch in a week or so and after that seem very stable. I’ve bought several sets over the years and have then fitted to three of my four Ukes (the other has Fremont Blacklines, I like them too but they’re hard to find and purchase).Read full review...

Amongst the very best strings you could choose
I have been using Martin M600 Strings for several years, on Soprano and Concert Ukes, and have found then to be amongst the very best strings. They last, they are loud, they give a good tone, once stretched and settled they stay in tune and they intone very well.
M600’s have always made a Uke sound better to me than the strings supplied by the Uke’s manufacturer, but remember to have a new Uke set-up too. There are some other Fluorocarbon strings that are similarly good (I like Fremonts too) or even marginally better but the Martins are readily available, sometimes they are well priced and they are sold in packs of single length.
I nearly always keep a spare packet of Martin’s ready to fit, and several friends who have fitted Martins to their Ukes have been delighted with them too.Read full review...

The string has a lovely sound and fit the concert ukelele slot quite easily without having to make adjustment.

Bright sounding strings.
I bought these for a cheap mandolin I've had for a few years which had been gathering dust. They've certainly brought it back to life and it's sounding nice and bright, reigniting my interest in this great wee instrument.Read full review...

Lovely tone.
These strings always sound great. Lovely tone, the ability to play softly but also to dig in when needed and get a lot more volume. Perfect on my Martin ukulele but are also now my string of choice for my other Uke.Read full review...

Flurocarbon strings, bright with projection.
These strings sound brighter than Aquila on my Soprano ukulele, and give more volume, so work well if you are playing with others.
However they are not as mellow.
The strings took about two weeks to fully settle down, but they are stable enough after a couple of days to play along with other players.Read full review...
