Good for fans...but bad combat

As a huge Bo-BoBo nerd I love this game...it fallows the plot of the 1st arc from the anime and manga almost to a tee! And has most of the characters that appear in that arc as well...as a fan that is a big plus! (It's also something the later RPGs would start to lose) but the big problem with this game is its combat...I got used to it but it's definitely a learning curve (especially if you don't know Japanese) it's a turn based RPG...but with a catch...the olny way (outside of items) to attack is with this weird roulette system...which can either do a normal attack... Combined attack... Or not attack at all...this weird attack system got me stuck in a never ending loop when I 1st played and put the game down for a long time...I eventually picked it backed up and learned the combat system better and was able to fully play the game...I guess thay wanted to use that system to reflect the Goofy nature or the series... But overall that combat system really brings down what could be the best Bo-BoBo game in my opinion... Now I still love this game to death and had a blast with it...to a fan of the series I highly recommend it...if you can get past that combat system you find one of the best...most faithful Bo-BoBo RPGs...and a side note you can fully play this if you don't know Japanese... You just have to experiment a bit...or use a phone with Google translate... Most of the time your translations will not bet very accurate (tho it can happen) most of the time it will be very confusing (especially when it's one of the parts that are nonsense in the series) but you should get a gist of what's going on or what to doRead full review
