The installation work took much longer than 20 minutes even though my husband had done one before and does "projects" frequently. Be sure you have the right equipment before you start.

It will probably take some time and patience to get your animal used to using it. We are still working on it with our cats. At least we are no longer trying cool all of South Texas with the door to the porch partially open.
