Quite superb! Terrific sound quality, and very well laid-out controls. No need for a headphone amplifier to boost the volume. Much superior to my Sony version.

Brilliant piece of kit

This Bose Portable CD player is arguably the finest of its type ever made. The high quality that Bose is known for oozes out of every nook and cranny of this wonderful machine. It looks good and performs flawlessly. Apparently they don't make them anymore and that is a shame. I'm sure that is in part due to the fact that quality on this scale does cost money and there are loads of machines out there that are sold at a fraction of the cost.
