The motor is good value, it has been designed, and made to keep the price down, but it is well built.
The Electric Motor is good value, it has been designed and made to keep the price down, but it looks well built.
As an extrusion has been used, instead of a cast aluminium frame, this works very well, except when you clamp down the motor, as the extrusion top hat section flattens, I made some packing 5 x 20 x 50mm, with a 8mm diameter hole in the centre, the motor clamped down perfectly then.
I had to ask for the connection details, which were supplied when I asked, it would be better to give these details, when sending a motor.

OK for the price
When it arrived (fast) via Fed-Ex the mounting foot was severely bent - the packaging was OK so clearly someone dropped it and quickly stuffed it back in the box before anyone noticed. The connectors to the capacitor and overload switch had snapped off and the wires left dangling.
Having said that I straightened the aluminium foot and rewired the switch box. It works as described and powers my compressor. I agree with another review that you have to pack out the feet with washers so that it sits firmly.
