Budget Entry Summer Jacket

Firstly, great styling and brand detailing from Dainese. That’s the good news along with the fact that this is an extremely lightweight summer jacket.

However it is very light and raises questions around protection. The supplied shoulder and elbow armour is very lightweight and arguably flimsy.

The collar is low (contrary to to the pictures) and there is no jacket adjustment.

It does accommodate a back protector but not chest protectors.

This jacket does not have a connecting zip to fasten to compatible trousers.

The retailer was great and accepted a return, but even though this was discounted when I bought it, the features and assurance as a protective garment were a bit too lacking for me. Read full review...
