Sorry ending to an otherwise very good series

Only bought this DVD as its part of a large series on the marque, and I wanted to complete my collection.
Not as entertaining as previous entries in the series and now only voiceovers between film clips, as opposed to having a physical presenter do the links via piece to camera.
Later presenter Kevin Buxton not a patch on previous presenter John Stovell whom radiated interest and passion for the subject material whereas Kevin Buxtons' delivery was too mannered and stilted/robotic, like he was just going through the motions for the pay check.
The DVD itself is also a bit of a cheat in that it repeats portions of the previous film clips as the voice over link occurs, simply ti pad out the running time.
Obviously things were getting bad at Second Sight when they decided to replace John Stovell with an inadequate and frankly bland, unenthusiastic individual whom appeared rather amatuerish by comparison.
Things obviously got worse for Second Sight when they then did away with a physical presenter altogether and asstated previously, repeated several portions of the previous clips.
The end game was that Second Sight got taken over by 5M, whom are unlikely to be producing any more in the series.
Given the route taken on the latter DVDs by Second Sight presumeably to save money, perhaps that's no bad thing.Read full review...
