I bought this 'sight unseen' apart from the picture on Ebay, so I wasn't expecting too much for the price, to be honest. I was going to stick it on my little Boat Trailer, as the old one has seen better days, but I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It's nowhere near as 'flimsy' as it looks on the photograph, and I ended up putting it on the big Boat Trailer, transferring the old one to the little'un. I've towed the big Boat quite a few miles already this Season, and it's performed brilliantly every time. Easy to hitch and unhitch, with a really secure connection to my car. I thought I had broken something when I first tried it, but it's designed for the locking handle to stay up when it isn't actually hitched to the car, and to my mind, it's not a bad idea. You can look at it from a fair distance away, and KNOW that you haven't attached it to the car in the normal rush to go fishing, so there's no chance of you driving away and snapping all your wiring! (A friend did exactly that with a different tow hitch)

Trailer Hitch

I purchased this hitch to fit to a trailed sprayer I was making. I ended up reverting to a ring hitch because the handle on this hitch is sufficiently tall that it interfered with the pto shaft running just above. Next time I will look for a release handle closer to the body of the hitch, if there is a next time.Read full review...
