Strong and simple.
I bought this for a demo for scout survival. But was pleasantly surprised how strong it is. It easily cut through six inch logs with the see-saw action so long as you hold the two ends wide. It works well if you make a green sapling bow and use like a normal bow-saw.
Because it's only twisted wire children can't easily cut themselves.

Quick and easy saw.
Needed to get a 13amp plug through the side of a cabinet, the hole there was too small, passed the saw through and behind the cupboard gap between wall and cupboard, sawed away and job done, didn't fancy getting the electric drill and hole saw out, this did the job in half the time - excellent.Read full review...

I was very impressed with the saw, I tried it out today [to be honest the thing looked so puny I thought it would never work]. I was very surprized to say it was great on wood, never tried it on metal [that's not what I got it for]. It is also so small it would fit in a wallet or even in the back of a phone case. No good on wet wood.
Wanted it to cut off some branches from a Blackthorn tree, tried it but it jammed in the wet wood after a few strokes. Tried it on some dry logs and it worked reasonably well.
